...and on, and on, and on...life is pretty good at the moment, knock on wood...i'm in a good groove at work, it's stimulating but not overwhelming, my students are all great this term, and i'm just in a good frame of mind at the moment...something TERRIBLE is bound to happen...i hope not but nothing last forever so i'll just keep enjoying where i'm at right now until i'm no longer here...
...it's been raining a lot here recently, and while i'm fully aware that i will be contradicting myself around march, at which point i probably won't have seen the sun in several months, at this point in time it's a welcome change...rain = cool temps = less sweaty casey = more happy casey...i love days like today also, when it's dark and gloomy but anything that has color stands out so distinctly...in the setting of my school, which is mostly gray concrete, the contrast is that much more stark...i dig it...
...we have a three day weekend coming up which i'm looking forward to...two days just isn't enough a lot of the time...chieko and i have a lot to catch up around here in terms cleaning the apartment and other domestic duties that i will not detail here because they are not interesting to anyone...
...i have also started taking japanese lessons again, as of last week, which i am happy about...i was making good progress before we moved in april, and that, coupled with a new job was enough to halt my studies for a while...
...so that's about what's new around here...sorry it has been a little while since i've updated this blog...i've been pretty busy and there hasn't been anything overly interesting to talk about, not that that ever stops me...this whole deal is driven purely by vanity anyway!!
...anyway, off to the ironing board for me...night
