...not that i did anything overly exciting this weekend, but the weather was beautiful and it was a relaxing two days...yesterday chieko and i took a nice drive up into the mountains next to town...we saw giant bamboo, giant spiders, and a fine sunset over the water while looking out across kanazawa...before heading up into the wild though, chieko took me to the guitar shop, where i got to play several expensive guitars that i will never own but nonetheless enjoyed playing...i bought a new set of strings for my own pride and joy...
...sadly, chieko did all the driving, as i am no longer allowed (per chieko) since apparently if and accident were to happen with me behind the wheel, our insurance wouldn't cover me since i'm operating with an international driver's license...oh well, more motivation for me to go and get the japanese license i have been dreaming about...
...it was a perfect sunday today...i woke up, had some coffee, restrung my guitar and then played it for a while, then went to the gym...and now, after devouring a tasty dinner, i bid farewell to yet another weekend...momentum is building at work though and the weeks will begin flying by in no time...
...so, it's off to the ironing board for me...
