Boo Yeah

Perusing photos of the Red Sox' post-A.L. East clinching celebration, this one stuck out as being particularly strange. And there were some stiff competition. Glad to see this version of the Sox has a little of the 2004 team's quirkiness to it as well.

And so, for now at least, we can back off the ledge we had pearched upon for the last week because the boys did it. Best team in baseball, home field advantage throughout the post season, Daisuke perhaps back on track, Drew most certainly on fire, Ortiz being Ortiz, Manny being Manny, everyone in general seems to be clicking at the right time. It all goes down as of Wednesday, and I'm feeling much better about this team than I was for the last month or so.

To boot, I'm watching ESPN at the moment and they're talking about what waste of money Roger Clemens had been for the Yankees. Savor. Good night.

Don't know if you saw it, but NESN kept with the Sox, fans, and all the activities during the wait for the Yankees collapse that ended with the suicide squeeze. How fitting!
