Ah, joy, the Red Sox lead is down to 3 1/2 games, the narrowest it's been since May 1. What a good time to dress up the $100 million man in a Teletubby suit and have him wander the streets of Toronto with his swashbuckling translator (which is actually pretty hilarious if only the Red Sox weren't playing themselves out of a pennant).
Meanwhile, Manny's wearing his underpants on his head, and still riding the bench. And the Yankees continue to destroy everything that crosses their path. I won't say I'm worried, but I'm definitely not comfortable with this situation. And worry is only about a 2 1/2 game lead away.
At least we've been having some killer sunsets in Kanazawa the last few days. Symbolism?
