...it's been four fun-filled days since chieko and i touched down on american soil...honestly it seems like i've never left, driving down the road i can't believe it's been nearly two years since i've been here...anyway, a recap...we landed on thursday around 7:30 pm, and ate lots of tasty pizza before an early night...we woke up early on Friday, my dad's 50th b-day...there was a large surprise party scheduled for him that evening, so after an afternoon lounging in the pool with my cousin bryana and chieko, it fell on the brothers bean to lure my father out of the house for a few hours in the evening so final preparations could be made...we did this by dragging him out for a boat ride in cape cod bay which was very enjoyable, and chieko did a great job driving the boat...the party kept me up until all hours of the night and it was really nice to see lots of family and friends who i haven't seen for while...saturday was spent more or less comatose as i was assaulted at once by both hangover and jet lag...but it was a wonderful day once the aspirin kicked in, relaxing on the couch watching the red sox and catching up on sleep...i was awake at 5:30 this morning, and sunday is turning into a beautiful day...hopefully will have more pics and words soon...GOOD TO BE HOME!!!
