...looking at houses and thinking hard about living in them fired up our appetites, so we headed off to seek nourishment...we found it, and in the process i spied some snow in the nearby mountains, which meant we were going to take a little drive before heading to the next real estate agent's office...turns out there wasn't that much snow up in the hills, but it was the first snow i've seen in a while, so i took some pictures...

...a slushy parsimmon grove...

...a slushy butte...(hill actually)

...and some ginko-leaf adorned graves...chieko told me it's bad luck to take pictures of graves...i hope she's wrong...we were stuck in traffic at the time, traffic caused by members of a cult leaving their weekly cult session...
...we met with one more real estate dude and then went and got back into bed for a few hours...it was rainy, cold, dark, and sunday...you can only do two things under those conditions, sleep or go to the movies...we chose sleep...
...after a few hours of unconsciousness we headed out to the gym...i find one of the main things driving me to the gym lately is the fact that it's warm there, and they have a sauna and numerous communal baths in which to lounge...we'll get into the lack of heating in japanese houses, and all it's implications, a little later on in the winter...
...we then counteracted any good we did at the gym by going to a greasy chinese food restaurant and gorging ourselves...and so it's sunday night again...sigh
