...so rather than tackle some of the aforementioned school work that i have so much of, i took advantage of this beautiful autumn day to ride down to the beach...it was a liesurely 45 minute ride...sadly (though you wouldn't know it by my amazing photography) this beach is pretty dirty after a summer's worth of inconsiderate humans...just a minute into my walk on the beach i nearly stepped on an open, rusty jacknife...being a global citizen i picked it up and put in on a larger piece of debris sitting on the beach so nobody would step on it...aside from that near incident i had a nice time strolling along the seashore and listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore...

...an example of fancy sand-level photography...we'll call this one 'all paths lead to the sea'...

...Japan's ubiquitous cement breakwaters doing what they do best: take abuse from the sea...the waves crashing into and through the breakwater sounded quite cool, like thunder...

...here's a big muddy wave for you...

...i channel my inner ansel adams for you by using iphoto to convert this picture to black and white...i tried editing it so it was more a closeup picture on that cool breaking part of the wave but couldn't figure out how to save it...kent, help me!!

...and lastly, my faithful steed (yes, that's a plastic bag on the seat)...and my shoes...
