...the floats got bigger and bigger as the night wore on...it looked like quite a challenge keeping these things upright in the narrow streets...they came pretty close to running themselves through various front doors and clipping powerlines along the way...when it was time for a rest, they balanced the float on the front, as you can see below...
...and just when i had lost hope/stopped caring about the lack of perversion at this festival, along came these guys...
...i spent the majority of yesterday in bed, but i was up bright and early today...it's been a nice 4 day weekend, and i'll be heading into work this afternoon to prepare for the shortened upcoming week...only about two weeks left in our term, then chieko and i will have a little mini-vacation...we're still trying to figure out what to do with ourselves, but it may come down to just relaxing around here and maybe taking some day trips...
...ok, time for me to take a shower and then head to the gym to atone for my indiscretions over the weekend...
