...a few weeks ago on this blog i was lamenting the fact that i no longer find so called 'japanese english' amusing or funny, aside from crazy apartment names...well, that was not entirely true, as there is one other area that continues to linguistically delite me...toilet paper...the names are all genuinely great, but they take on a whole different meaning given the fact that it's toilet paper...my all time favorite has to be 'pity,' followed by 'naive lady' and 'silty roman'...a friend of mine sent me a picture the other day of one called 'core self' which deserves a nobel prize or something...
...chieko has a thing for buying cheap toilet paper and tissue...she can't resist buying it when there is a bargain...as a result, we have enough toilet paper and tissue to last the next year or so...today i noticed this package sitting in the middle of the room...i'm not sure how long it's been there or why i haven't noticed it before...it's not the funniest toilet paper i've see, but it's quite original...
