Are those wedding bells???

...well, no, but i'm happy to report that chieko and i went down to the local city office and officially got married this afternoon after work...it was not a very celebratory occassion, given that it was just filling out and submitting forms, and asking the clerk to take a few pictures of us before the batteries in my camera died...but we'll will most certainly be throwing down in both japanese and american style, at some point, some place, none of which has been decided or actually even really considered yet, but chieko wants to wear a wedding dress, and i want to have a big party...details forthcoming on that...so congratulations to us!!!
