Bachelor BBQ...

...and what a BBQ it was...my good friend Kent will be getting married to my other good friend Hyun-joo next month, and with the few male friends that we have soon to be scattered around the globe with the onset of summer vacation, the time was now to celebrate his fading bachelor-hood...and so it was that today we headed down to the beach to consume massive amounts of meat, burn our arms cooking said meat, sip beer and celebrate manhood...we started off our day at our rented bbq pit where we ate, ate, and ate...once our 3 hours were up, we strolled down to the beach for some frisbee, swimming, kiteflying, and man-talk...i took my first dip in the ocean in nearly two years and it was very, very satisfying...despite the paraglider who repeatedly flew up and down the beach two feet off the ground, the afternoon was thoroughly enjoyable, and i sit here this evening stuffed, slightly intoxicated, and feeling very happy and full of possibility...the first thing i will do with all this energy and positivity is to attempt to watch last night's red-hot red sox game via mlb.com, which i must say has been the worst $100 i have spent in a while, but seeing as i'm so high on life at the moment, i am feeling good about the prospect...so Kent, congratulations to you, you are a lucky man and a great friend, and i can't wait to see you in hawaii this summer! to everyone else, i hope your sunday will be as good as mine was...go red sox!!
