This picture is a tribute to my friend/former coworker, whose shows in Tokyo I have been unable to catch so far...have no fear Mr. Pierce, i may be far away, but i am nonetheless involved...check out the link to his website if you want to find out more about all that is Bobby D. and be disturbed by his freakish, red-eyed, mascara smeared image...

...Kent and i biked ourselves down town this afternoon and while meandering through backstreets i came across this cool little scene...there was a small canal running along the side of the road, and all the houses had these little bridges which led to little doors which led into there little yards...it was quite cool and i wish i had one in front of my apartment...
...last night we went to big dinner with all the people who work in my building at school, and the president of the school..it was at a very nice restaurant on top of a very nice hill from which we could see the city unfold below us...there was a lot of fish at the dinner, some of which was delicious and some of which was too strange looking for me to try...i had to introduce myself in japanese and give a short speech in front of the 50 or so people, which was slightly nerve-wracking...lots of work to do tomorrow as the term is coming to and end and things are the just a bit busy...so night night!!
