...this is the resident hawk-like bird that spends its days soaring above and around the KIT campus, occassionally dive-bombing unsuspecting students in an effort to steal their food, or tangling with the local crows who compete for the turf...hopefully i'll be able to get a picture of that at some point because it is pretty cool looking...i enjoy watching this thing gracefully glide around in the wind...i took this picture today from my office window...i had a few closer shots but they didn't come out well...so this is it, but anticipate more, hopefully clear/closer/crow-inolving pictures of this guy (or gal)...

no i didn't, in fact i didn't think it had posted at all...the blog site was acting weird last night and didn't seem to be working...guess it was
